Is it possible to integrate all of this into a furniture range? Can you base the design of consumer durables on a temporary hype? Has it become outmoded to create objects you can pass on to the next generation? These are all questions you have to ask yourself when designing a new range. How far does your responsibility stretch? Should you reduce the risks for your principal? Should you aim at creating a huge retail hit? Or should you try to seduce the end-buyer, taking account of his wishes? Probably all three of them. Does the Aragon range meet these challenges? Time will tell, but the range has definitely been designed with these goals in mind. Quality, value, comfort, timelessness, those were the pillars of our ambition. Original details, elegant proportions. The obvious choice of using durable materials and paying attention to environmental issues was not only a wish but also an obligation.
